USPHL Elite Players Of The Week: Atlantic and Midwest Divisions

Atlantic Division 

Forward: Wyatt Stasik, WBS Knights 

Stasik (‘06/Wilkes, Pa.) had a big weekend to bridge November and December, scoring three goals and also had two assists for five points. The second-year Knight has improved to a career best 29 points in 20 games this year. 

 

Defense: Adam Zaremba, Rockets Hockey Club 

Zaremba (‘06/South Plainfield, N.J.) registered a goal and an assist for two points to help the Rockets to a 5-1 win to start December and earn the game-winning goal. Zaremba is a career Rockets player, having come up through their youth and Midget ranks. 

 

Goaltender: Anthony Shaw, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights

Shaw  (‘06/Wilkes, Pa.) stopped all 32 shots he faced on Nov. 30 against the Rockets Hockey Club for his second shutout of the season and his fourth win in a row. He is 6-1 this season and for his career, he is 9-3-0-0 with a .916 save percentage. 

 

Midwest Division

Forward: Christopher Frachalla, Chicago Crush

Frachalla (‘04/Frankfort, Ill.) bridged November and December by scoring a pair of goals including the GWG with his first goal of the season on Dec. 1. The second-year Crush player now has a career-best nine points in 18 games this year. 

 

Defense: Logan Landmeier, Chicago Crush 

Landmeier (‘05/Elgin, Ill.) put up the assist on Frachalla’s GWG against the division-leading Fort Wayne Spacemen on Dec. 1. He currently has five points in 17 games this season. 

 

Goaltender: Johnny Augusta, Chicago Crush

Augusta (‘04/Medinah, Ill.) racked up his fifth win in a row on Dec. 1, stopping 40 of 41 Fort Wayne shots for a season high in saves. He has seven wins this season and is 16-5-0-1 with a .934 save percentage in his two-year Crush career.
