New England Division
Forward: Zack Warner-Senee, Worcester Railers JHC
Warner-Senee (‘06/Leominster, Mass.) registered three goals and four assists for seven points over two games against the Boston Junior Bruins and Thunder Hockey Club. Warner-Senee, who also represented Worcester in the All-Star event and registered one assist, has 38 points in 29 games this season.
Defense: Matthew Taylor, Northern Cyclones
Taylor (‘05/Wake Forest, N.C.), a former USPHL Elite standout blueliner, has certainly made a fantastic transition to the Premier, especially evident in his two-goal and one-assist performance in two games last week. He has improved to 12 points in the 31 games he played.
Goaltender: Troy Huber, Springfield Pics
Huber (‘05/Framingham, Mass.) registered a 36-save shutout to defeat the Boston Jr. Rangers on Jan. 25. He improved to 15-5-1-1 with a .930 save percentage this season and he has 21 wins for his career.
Canada Division
Forward: Félix Belanger, Universel Sherbrooke
Belanger (‘07/Drummondville, Que.) put up a 3-2-5 line for two games for Sherbrooke as the team continues to push for traction near the top of the Canada Division. Belanger has scored 36 points in 37 games this season.
Defense: Samuel Dussiaume-Latour, Somang L-L Hockey
Dussiaume-Latour (‘05/Terrebonne, Que.) registered a goal and two assists in a pair of games against Kingston and Montreal last weekend, which accounted for most of his four points this season.
Goaltender: Carlo Giordani, Universel Sherbrooke
Giordani (‘06/Milano, Italy) registered a big win with 36 saves on 37 shots for Sherbrooke against a much-improved Kingston squad. He is currently 6-4-1-0 with a .913 save percentage.
Atlantic Division
Forward: Thomas Miller, P.A.L. Jr. Islanders
The second-year Jr. Islander Miller (‘05/Babylon, N.Y.) registered two goals against the Brooklyn Aviators and added three assists against the Jersey Hitmen last weekend. He has improved to 34 points in 32 games.
Defense: Hubert Szarzynski, Connecticut Jr. Rangers
Szarzynski (‘06/Sanok, Poland) put up a game-winning goal and added three assists for the red-hot Rangers during three games against Mercer and the Rockets Hockey Club. Playing in his first year of North American hockey, he has 18 points in 26 games.
Goaltender: Elijah Wiltshire, West Chester Wolves
On Jan. 25, Wiltshire (‘05/Palm Harbor, Fla.) stopped 36 of 37 shots against the WBS Knights. His .946 save percentage this season ranks fifth in the entire USPHL Premier.
Selection Process: Divisional statistical leaders are presented to coaches, who are able to vote on the leaders, or nominate and vote on alternate candidates.
