Elite Conference

Wilkes-Barre/Scranton won yesterday and secured first place in the Mid-Atlantic. They will host either the Hitmen, P.A.L., Rockets or Aviators.

Tampa will clinch in the Florida Division today with a win over Columbia or by gaining a point against Columbia with a Florida Blades’ loss vs. Atlanta.

Premier Conference

Toledo and Metro are battling for 1-2 in the Great Lakes, while Columbus and Cincinnati  are battling for 3-4. Toledo and Metro would have home ice and the question is who will leave Ohio for their first game.

The San Diego Sabers have clinched in the Pacific, joining Fresno.

The next teams poised to clinch are

1.) Steele County, with either a win today or a Mullets’ loss;

2.) Ontario, with their next win or a Bakersfield loss. Ontario is idle until Feb. 2. Bakersfield has two games left this weekend vs. Long Beach.

Las Vegas is 4 points from clinching. Any combination of four points for, or points lost by Bakersfield, assures Las Vegas at least fourth place. Las Vegas hosts  Fresno today and tomorrow
