Jersey Hitmen 4, Connecticut Jr. Rangers 0 

Nick Bunch (’05/Canton, Mich.) stopped all 34 shots he faced against the Jr. Rangers to record his second shutout of the season. Ty Oller (’05/Wayne, N.J.) registered the game-winning goal.

 

Utica Jr. Comets 4, Northern Cyclones 3 (OT) 

NCDC All-Stars selection Niko Benjamin (’04/Surprise, Ariz.) scored the OT game-winner, giving him his sixth overall GWG for his four-year career with Utica. Fellow All-Stars Ricky Volpe (’04/Commack, N.Y.) and goaltender Michael Valenta (’05/Sumperk, Czechia) had a goal and an assist and 35 saves on 38 shots, respectively. Isaac Barrett (’04/Zionsville, Ind.) had two assists.

 

P.A.L.  Jr. Islanders 7, Mercer Chiefs 4

The Jr. Islanders won their third game in a row, with All-Star selection Robert Lachance (’04/West Hartford, Conn.) scoring twice. Also picking up multiple points were All-Stars Carson Nickulas (’04/Barnstable, Mass.) registering two assists, and Ryan Kearney (’04/Garden City, N.Y.) registered a 1-2-3 line. Defensemen Michael Calabrese (’05/Wantagh, N.Y.) and Michael English (’04/Smithtown, N.Y.) each had two assists. In net, Lukas Vejmelka (’04/Trebic, Czechia) registered 24 saves on 28 shots for his fourth straight win.

 

South Shore Kings 4, Islanders Hockey Club 2

Hunter Bruce (’05/Dartmouth, N.S.) put up two goals and one assist to help the Kings to their second win and a 10-point cushion for first place in the New England Division. Additionally, All-Star selections Jack DesRuisseaux (’04/Manchester, N.H.) and Zachary Walsh (’05/Lake View, N.Y.) registered a 1-2-3 and an 0-2-2 line, respectively. Goaltender Beau Lane (’04/Pembroke, Mass.) made 31 saves on 33 shots.

 

Thunder Hockey Club 4, Worcester Railers JHC 3 (OT)

The Thunder have won three games in a row, including their big OT win on Saturday night against the Railers. Daniel Tirendi (’05/Exton, Pa.) scored the overtime game-winner, while Sean Connolly (’04/Canton, Mass.) registered a goal and an assist. In net, Prestyn Carter (’04/Macomb, Mich.) stopped 46 of 49 shots.

 

Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights 5, West Chester Wolves 3

The Knights pulled off a big victory against the Wolves, eight points ahead of them in the standings, on Saturday night in a second straight chapter of the Battle of Pennsylvania. Five different goal-scorers put in goals for the Knights.  All-Star Zackary Chouinard. (’04/Trois-Rivieres, Que.) registered a goal and two assists, while Frankie Hipp (’04/Boalsburg, Pa.) and Thomas Dell (’05/Franktown, Colo.) each had two helpers. In net, Emmanuel Pepin (’05/St-Jean, Que.) stopped 40 of 43 shots.

 

Casper Warbirds 3, Ogden Mustangs 2

The Warbirds earned a huge victory against a team that is 34 points ahead of them in the division co-leader Ogden Mustangs. Owen Cross (’04/Hampden, Maine) scored two goals including the regulation game-winner. In net, Ryan Henry (’04/Wayne, N.J.) stopped 37 of 39 shots.

 

Idaho Falls Spud Kings 1, Utah Outliers 0 

The Spud Kings won four games in a row, on the night when they announced that Idaho Falls would host the 2026 Dineen Cup Championships. Charlie Durkin (’06/Glencoe, Ill.) made 28 saves for a shutout, while Tyler Atchison (’06/Las Vegas, Nev.) scored the only goal.

 

Pueblo Bulls 6, Rock Springs Grizzlies 1

All-Star selections Matsvei Marshchanok (’05/Minsk, Belarus) put up two goals and one assist and twin brother and fellow All-Star Siamion Marshchanok put up a 1-3-4 line. Mykyta Bondariev (’06/Kyiv, Ukraine) had four assists, and Quinn Smith (’06/Madison, Wis.) registered two helpers. In net, Noel Friedman (’05/Denver, Colo.) stopped 27 of 28 shots for the win.
